Applying to the Radiologic Technology Program

The RT program has a separate application and selection process in addition to general Cabrillo College admission. For students not currently enrolled at Cabrillo College, general college application materials are available at the Welcome Center and on the Cabrillo College website.

Requirements for admission into the RT program include successful completion of the program prerequisites listed below, and the completion of the application process.

Selection is based on:

  1. Completion of all required prerequisites with the appropriate GPA.
  2. How many clinical spaces are available.
  3. Date of the application.

The program has additional clinical compliance requirements because students are placed into affiliated hospitals/clinics for clinical education. Students must also comply with the Minimum Physical and Non-Physical Standards that are necessary for clinical placement.

Application Forms

for the application time period May 1st, 2020 - July 15th, 2020

Applicants who are unable to obtain official transcripts (hard copies) can request the electronic copies (PDF's)
to be sent to Cabrillo College. They will be accepted due to the current circumstances with COVID-19 of many college and university processes.  Applicants that are submitting electronic official transcripts should still send the remainder of the application to the RT Program Coordinator.
